Deshalb möchte ich im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit klären, wie diese Kunstform in der Forschungsliteratur definiert wird, welche Auffassungen und Kernaussagen zu diesem Thema getroffen wurden und inwieweit sich diese aufeinander beziehen. Die frühesten Äußerungen zur sprecherischen Gestaltung finden sich bereits bei Martin Seydel, Ewald Geissler, Emil Milan und Richard Wittsack. Da es aber den Rahmen einer Hausarbeit sprengen würde und ich nur einen groben Überblick geben möchte, werde ich mich nicht auf alle, sondern auf einige ausgewählte sprechwissenschaftliche Äußerungen zur Sprechkunst konzentrieren, im Besonderen auf die von Erich Drach und Irmgard Weithase. Die anschließende Darstellung der Vortragskunst nach Eva-Maria Krech und der ästhetischen Kommunikation nach Hellmut Geißner, sowie die Äußerungen Gottfried Meinholds und Egon Aderholds sollen weiterhin helfen, den Begriff der Sprechkunst und ihr Anliegen einzugrenzen und verständlich zu machen. Von diesem Verständnis ausgehend werde ich dann im zweiten Teil der Arbeit auf das Experimentierfeld sprechkünstlerischer Arbeit – die Programmkunst – eingehen. Dabei möchte ich auf das von Margaret Bräunlich herausgestellte Anliegen künstlerischer Programme eingehen und prüfen, ob der aus dem Theater stammende Gestus-Begriff, wie ihn Martina Haase und Hans Martin Ritter vorstellen, ein zusätzliches Mittel für den Aneignungs- und Gestaltungsprozess literarischer Texte sein könnte.
